A former youth leader has been detained by police for threatening to distribute explicit pictures of his sister-in-law.
The suspect, aged 36, was arrested at about 5pm on Wednesday in Bukit Puchong near here.
It is learnt the victim had lodged a report and a police team was despatched to pick up the suspect for questioning.
Sources said the suspect was a businessman and based in a northern state.
It is also learnt that the suspect had attempted to solicit sexual favours from the victim, resulting in her lodging the report.
OCPD Supt Abdul Razak Elias confirmed a suspect had been picked up and remanded until March 3.
