You Charge Higher Price, We Hack Your Web Site

The website of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has been defaced, with hackers changing its logo and posting vulgarities on the web page. The hackers demanded that ticket prices for tomorrow’s Malaysia Cup final match be reduced. FAM had raised the ticket price for the Terengganu-Negri Sembilan match from RM30 to RM50.

The hackers described the decision as “illogical”, calling FAM a capitalist.

An online report from a Bahasa Malaysia daily about the ticket price issue was also included in the page. The defaced page credited UM’07, cr3ws, gaysec and anti-p4sti for the hack.

Earlier, Bernama reported that police are investigating an incident in which four men on motorcycles hurled five packets of red paint at FAM’s premises in Kelana Jaya.

Hardcore poor who can pay for satellite TV and cars

Recipients of Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority’s (Risda) housing aid for the hardcore poor were found to have Astro television dishes and cars.

The Auditor-General’s Report said this had cast doubt on the eligibility of the recipients.

The report, which showed pictures of homes with satellite dishes and cars, said Risda had approved 6,033 out of 12,708 applications for homes under the hardcore poor programme up to December last year.
