210 reasons why you should not live in apartments

Residents of USJ 1's Avenue Condominium, woke up to an unusual sight of finding their cars submerged in murky waters in their basement parking lot.

The Sungai Penaga, which runs behind the condominium burst its banks causing flood waters to rush into the lower ground of the condominium.

According to residents who managed to save their vehicles, it took hardly 20 minutes for the flood waters to reach the rooftops of some cars.

For others who slept through the night, the floods cost them a fortune.

About 210 vehicles were badly damaged, resulting in an overall estimated loss of almost RM8 million.
