Once a straight A student. Now a drug addict

SHE was once a straight As student in the UPSR exam but dropped out without completing Form One.

Seven years later, the 21-year-old was found wandering in a coffeeshop in Ipoh on Nov 23 in a semi-conscious state.

She has been sent to the Ipoh Hospital for treatment, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The 44-year-old mother rushed from Kuala Lumpur after being informed of her daughter’s situation.

“Mother, I will not run away again. I want to go home,” she told her mother in hospital.

The mother, now a divorcee, said she would take care of her daughter once she was discharged.

The report said the girl became a drug addict when she was 13 years old and had been to five rehabilitation centres.
